Lucas Gets Bored

Building an MP3 jukebox from a collection of trashed computers.

My name is Lucas Pisarsky and this is the story of the day I got bored while hanging out with my father. Dad is a network engineer, and kind of dull. He spends most of his time doing things with computers, and not enough time doing fun things like digging up worms or playing basketball. I've noticed that is a problem with most adults; they'll sit there staring at the television as if there is something meaningful coming out of it, while ignoring the world of fun that can be had from a toy shovel and a pile of mud. So it goes.

So, like I said, I'm visiting Dad and there's just not much to do. It was raining outside that day, and for some reason you just can't get an adult to play basketball in the rain. It's a failing in their character, I believe. I heard Dad say something about needing a device to play the hold music over the phone system where he works. "Hmmmmmmm.....", I think, "maybe I can come up with something."
